The Old Malt Cask 11 years old Longmorn 2002 was bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in September 2012, a year after Pernod Ricard took over the distillery, and has matured in sherry finished hogshead cask 10029. It was bottled in September 2013 at natural cask strength of 50%, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A single cask release of 119 bottles.
Nose: rounded and aromatic with tobacco, malt, spices and fruit
Palate: buttery, crushed sugar and vanilla honey with some late vanilla toffee
Finish: warmingly spices with notes of cedar and muscovado sugar
