The Old Particular Glen Keith 21 years old is an older Speyside single malt bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in November 1995 and matured in refill hogshead DL 10647. It was bottled in March 2017 at 51,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 257 bottles.
Nose: a bartender’s lemon cocktail slice, poppy seeds and ginger with light pepper
Palate: loads more citric notes with Grandma’s lemon meringue pie and vanilla ice cream
Finish: burnt sugar, malted barley running alongside marmalade and flambeed orange
