The Old Particular Glen Elgin 21 years old 1995 is an older Speyside single malt bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in December 1995 and matured in refill hogshead DL11596. It was bottled in March 2017 at 51,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 266 bottles.
Nose: spicy fruit syrup with syrupy sweetness, grist, honey and vanilla
Palate: sweet with aromas of warm and baked pastry/dough, fruit drops and wine gums
Finish: medium long and fresh with some fruity aromas
