Carn Mor “Celebration of the Cask” Tomintoul 23yo 1996 (49,7%)

The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask Tomintoul 23 years old 1996 is Speyside single malt from the Tomintoul distillery bottled by the independent bottler Carn Mor (Morrison & MacKay) in their Celebration of the Cask series. This Tomintoul was distilled on the 13^th of November 1996 and matured in bourbon hogshead 113. It was bottled on the 6^th of January 2020 at natural cask strength of 49,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 278 bottles.

Nose: heather honey with cream caramel candy and pancakes with blueberry jam

Palate: herbal and spicy with ginger and black pepper topped by aromas of honey, flowers and sweet popcorn

Finish: long and spicy with caramel and nuts
