The Carn Mor “Celebration of the Cask” Glen Elgin 22 years old 1995 is an older Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery bottled by the independent bottler Morrison & MacKay in their Celebration of the Cask series. It was distilled on the 21st of December 1995 and matured in bourbon hogshead 3208. It was bottled on the 6th of June 2018 at natural cask strength of 53,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 280 bottles.
Nose: mint and oak with aromas of a whisky warehouse followed by yellow and orange fruit with mostly mandarin
Palate: juicy white fruit with spices, oak and even a little pungent
Finish: Coke? Sticking on the tongue with white spices
