Benromach 20th Anniversary Bottling (56,2%)

The Benromach 20th Anniversary Bottling is the anniversary release celebrating the new start the Benromach distillery made under it’s new owners, the Urquhart family, on the 23^rd of April 1998. After being silent for over 15 years the distillery was fired up again producing a lightly peated malt. This anniversary bottling is a 19 year old release from 1998 matured in first fill oak barrels. It was bottled in 2018 at batch strength of 56,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 3.000 bottles.

Nose: fruitcake and vanilla with hints of fresh citrus fruit, dark chocolate and warm spicy aromas

Palate: sweetness of raisins and apples with dark chocolate, orange zest, toffee, liquorice and ginger

Finish: long and creamy with toasted oak, subtle spices and a hint of smoke
