The Glenlivet 14yo 1994 Adelphi Selection (61%)

The Glenlivet 14 years old 1994 Adelphi Selection is a Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. It was distilled in 1994 and matured in first fill sherry Oloroso sherry butt 61416. It was bottled in 2009 at natural cask strength of 61% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 560 bottles.

Nose: light with ginger, sugar syrup, peaches, sherry and cream

Palate: custard, tinned peaches, Scotch trifle, rich oak, raisins and chocolate

Finish: rich and rounded with lots of sherry and nuts
