Pittyvaich 25yo Special Release 1990 – 2015 (49,9%)

The Pittyvaich 25 years old Special Release 2015 is an older Speyside single malt from the closed (since 1993) Pittyvaich distillery bottled in the 2015 Diageo Special Release series. Distilled in 1990 and matured in refill bourbon hogsheads before being bottled in 2015 at cask strength of 49,9% ABV. A limited release of 5922 bottles.

Nose: ripe and firm with nuts, Christmas cake, a hint of tobacco, some soy and cereals

Palate: dark fruit with rich cereal notes, raspberries, hop and some green apple

Finish: clean and lifted
