Carn Mor “Celebration of the Cask” Benrinnes 1991 23yo (55,1%)

A 23 years old Benrinne from 1991 bottled in the Celebration of the Cask series of the independent bottler Carn Mor. A Speyside single malt distilled on the 6th of September 1991 and matured in bourbon hogshead 510. Bottled on the 2nd of February 2015 at natural cask strength of 55,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 247 bottles.

Nose: forest, pines, lemon curd with spicy pastry, rich spice aromas and light apricots

Palate: complex with lots of fruit and spices, lemon and even green pepper. With some water even richer fruit notes appear

Finish: “wood finish” with fresh coffee
