Tomatin 1988 Vintage Batch 2

The Tomatin 1988 Vintage Batch 2 is a 25 years old Highlands single malt. Distilled in 1988 and matured in bourbon casks and ‘port pipes’. This second batch was bottled in 2014 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 2500 bottles.

Nose: strawberry marmalade with honey glazed cooked ham, Cantaloupe melon and freshly pressed orange juice

Palate: sweet with buttery notes, sugar, sponge cake, red fruit, eucalyptus, mint, coconut and smoke

Finish: fresh and with a lot of depth
