The Dalwhinnie 25yo Special Release 1987 - 2012 is a 25 years old Highland single malt in the 2012 edition of the Diageo Special Releases. A unique Dalwhinnie distilled in 1987 matured in American oak casks and bottled in 2012. A natural cask strength release of 52,1% and a limited edition of 5358 bottles.

Nose: apple tarte tatin, hints of oak, leather and honey followed by allspice, cacao and rum and raisin ice

Palate: warm with aromas of black pepper, malted barley, bee wax, Manuka honey, dessert wine, herbs and a hint of grass

Finish: medium long with notes of caramel and cinnamon
