Tomatin 36yo Batch 2

The Tomain 36 years old Batch 2 is the second release in this small batch series by Tomatin. It was distilled in 1980 and matured in first fill Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and refill American oak casks. It was bottled in June 2016 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 800 bottles.

Nose: honeyed fruit salad, vanilla, kiwi, orchard fruit and hints of red fruit

Palate: darker spices with nutty malt, apricots and fruit zests

Finish: creamy barley, butterscotch, spices and fruit syrup
