North Star Glenlivet 38yo 1981 (49,1%)

The North Star Glenlivet 38 years old 1991 is an old Speyside single malt from the Glenlivet distillery bottled by the independent bottler North Star in their Cask Series 010. This Glenlivet was distilled in 1981 and matured in a hogshead. It was bottled in June 2020 at natural cask strength of 49,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 78 bottles.

Nose: fresh butter croissants, banoffee pie and pink pearl apples

Palate: white pepper on yer toast with a side of vanilla ice cream

Finish: slight menthol and eucalyptus, floral gums and pear drops
