Carn Mor “Celebration of the Cask” Garnheath 41yo 1974 (50,8%)

The Carn Mor “Celebration of the Cask” Garnheath 41 years old from 1974 is a rare and old Lowlands single malt from the closed (since 1986) Garnheath distillery. Bottled by the independent bottler Carn Mor in their exclusive Celebration of the Cask series. This single grain was distilled on the 14^th of February 1974 and matured in bourbon barrel 313235. It was bottled on the 1^st of June 2015 at natural cask strength of 50,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 144 bottles.

Nose: lots of sweetness with a hint of almonds

Palate: light sweet notes with fruit, soft mandarins and oranges, and a hint of marzipan

Finish: warm and hot with sweet notes
