Cardhu 11yo Special Release 2020 (56%)

The Cardhu 11 years old Special Release 2020 is a Speyside single malt from the Cardhu distillery bottled in the Diageo Special Release series for 2020. This Cardhu is a very fruity one matured in refill and new ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled at natural cask strength of 56% ABV.

Tasting notes: Fruity top notes of green apple, green grape and pineapple on the nose, leading to a hint of lemon peel and a faintly mossy base. The palate has a creamy-smooth texture with a buttery, hot and spicy flavour akin to hot-cross buns. The finish is quite long with some white pepper.
