West Cork Black Cask Irish Whiskey

West Cork Distillers was founded in 2008 in Union Hall, West Cork, Ireland by three friends for life. The close friendship of these three people was the basis for a search for making the best spirit in the world: "We aim to be a centre of excellence for the distillation of brown spirits, and to deliver innovative products to meet and stimulate international market demand" .

The West Cork Black Irish Whiskey is a limited release Irish single malt finished in double charred bourbon casks (taosting level 5). This gives this Irish an intense vanilla aroma with mild sweetness. It is bottled at 40% ABV, chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: sweet with mild aromas of pears, caramel, vanilla and roasted oak

Palate: intense vanilla notes of vanilla pudding and vanilla sauce with caramel and malt

Finish: sweet with loads of vanilla
