Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Finish

The Tullibardine 225 Sauterness Finish was first released in 2013 and is a no age statement Highlands single malt. This release was finished (for 12 months) in a 225 liter Sauternes wine cask from Chateau Suduiraaut. This special finish gives it a beautiful golden colour and an elegant and sweet fruity character. Bottled at 43% ABV, non chill filtered.

Nose: citrus peels and allspice, notes of creamy vanilla, golden syrup, cocoa butter and black pepper

Palate: spiced palate entry with notes of candied orange and Seville marmalade, a little dried pineapple and white chocolate

Finish: medium finish with lingering sweet spices
