The Tomatin Cu Bocan is a peated Highland single malt with no age statement. The Cu Bocan, released in 2013, has matured in young oak, ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is peated to 15 PPM and thanks it's name to the hellhound that was said to roam through the Highlands in the medieval ages.
Nose: coconuts and cream with some floral aromas, parsley and coriander followed by slowly emerging smoke with lime, grapefruit and notes of almonds and aniseed
Palate: very light in the beginning followed by honey smoke and rich spices like cloves, cinnamon, and star anise bringing more elegancy
Finish: light with a hint of sweet smoke
