The Glenlivet 12yo (old bottling)

This Glenlivet is a 12 years old core range release from this Speyside distiller. This whisky is also known as “The single malt that started it all” and has matured in American oak casks with no added colours. This is an old bottling in the grey packaging that was replaced by a new version early 2020.

Nose: fresh and floral with fresh sewn grass, oak, malt and a hint of leather and white chocolate

Palate: slightly oily and peppery with notes of liquorice, anise and fruit

Finish: not too long, peppery and malty with a little caramel sweetness
