Mars Maltage Cosmo Manzanilla Cask Finish

The Mars Maltage Cosmo Manzanilla Cask Finish is a limited edition from the small Japanese Shinshu distillery. It’s the standard Mars Maltage Cosmo (a blend of Shinshu and Scotch malts) finished in ex Manzanilla sherry casks. This limited edition was bottled in 2019 at 42% ABV.

Nose: dried fruit and vanilla well balanced with nutty aromas

Palate: white fruit with maple syrup, coconut and dark chocolate

Finish: long and slightly bitter
