The Plantation Single Cask Barbados & Jamaica 9 years old 2011 Bottled for the Netherlands is a Jamaican rum from the West Indies Rum Distillery and the Long Pond Distillery bottled by Plantation, especially for the Dutch market. The West Indies matured for 4,5 years in bourbon casks in the tropics and the Long Pond for 8,5 years. In France the West Indies matured for another 3,5 years and the Longpond 0,5 years followed by a finish in Acacia ex cognac casks. This Plantation was bottled in 2020 at 53% ABV.

Nose: wood, vanilla, coconut and slightly green aromas

Palate: fresh, dry, notes of almond, toasted peanuts and honey
