Pere Labat 2010 Rhum Agricole Velier 70th Anniversary Release (57,5%)

The Pere Labat 2010 Rhum Agricole Velier 70^th Anniversary Release is a 7 year old rhum Agricole from the island of Marie-Galante, south of Guadeloupe. This rum was distilled in 2010 at the Poisson Distillery (the oldest on the island) and matured in cask (fut) 105 and 106 for 7 years. It was bottled in February 2017 at natural cask strength of 57,5% ABV as a special release for the 70^th anniversary of Velier, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited release of 610 bottles.

Nose: intense and rich with tropical fruit and candied dried fruit with tobacco and licorice

Palate: medium body and rich with tropical fruit

Finish: medium long
