The Caroni Navy Rum Replica Extra Strong 90 Proof 100th Anniverary is a special Caroni rum bottled by Velier marking the 100th birthday of the closed Caroni distillery. This is an 18 year old release from 2000 bottled at 90 proof a.k.a. 51,4% ABV.

Nose: powerful with chocolate, green banana, vanilla, tobacco and oak

Palate: very complex with honey, spices, toffee, vanilla, dates, figs and oil

Finish: long and complex with lots of oak aromas
