The First Cask Rum Caroni 19 years old 1999 is a rum from the closed Caroni distillery in Trinidad & Tobago bottled by the Dutch independent bottler and importer Whisky Import Nederland. It’s their first rum release in the First Cask series. This Caroni was distilled in March 1999 and matured in cask 190. It was bottled in November 2018 at natural cask strength of 61,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 233 bottles.

Nose: caramel cookies with dark chocolate, black berry jelly and sweating oak

Palate: leather with warming and hot spices, light bitter fruit aromas and coffee

Finish: sticky and warming
