Compagnie des Indes Veneragua Multi Distilleries 13yo Small Batch

Compagnie des Indes was founded in 2014 by Florent Beuchet. The brand shows the variety and diversity of single cask and blended rums from different countries. The Veneragua Multi Distilleries 13 years old Small Batch is a blended rum made from 3 cask from Venezuela and 2 casks from Nicaragua. All were distilled in April 2005 and bottled in July 2018 at 45% ABV as a limited edition of 1911 bottles.

Nose: vanilla and roasted notes together with salted butter caramel hints

Palate: the butter caramel invades the palate to finish on spicy notes and licorice

Finish: nutty, white pepper and tobacco. This rum is complex and spicy but still remains accessible and easy to drink
