Compagnie des Indes Cuba Sancti Spiritus 18yo 1999

Compagnie des Indes was founded in 2014 by Florent Beuchet. The brand shows the variety and diversity of single cask and blended rums from different countries. This release is an 18 year old Cuban rum from the Sancti Spiritus distillery. Distilled in January 1999 and matured in cask CSS12. Bottled in August 2017 at 45% ABV and a limited single cask release of 341 bottles.

Nose: apples, white flowers and peaches

Palate: caramel, fresh apples and Calvados

Finish: long, dry and spicy with some liquorice
