Compagnie des Indes Brazil Epris 16yo 1999

Compagnie des Indes was founded in 2014 by Florent Beuchet. The brand shows the variety and diversity of single cask and blended rums from different countries. The Brazil Epris 16 years old 1999 is a single cask release from the Epris distillery near Sao Paolo. It was distilled in October 1999 and matured in bourbon cask BR10 (used to age rum as well before). It was bottled in April 2016 at 42% ABV as a limited single cask release of 229 bottles.

Nose: rich and elegant with spices, minerals, white peach, orange freshness and some vanilla

Palate: elegant with vanilla, white peach and citrus

Finish: fresh with a hint of menthol
