Compagnie des Indes Boulet de Canon No. 6

Compagnie des Indes was founded in 2014 by Florent Beuchet. The brand shows the variety and diversity of single cask and blended rums from different countries. The Boulet de Canon No.6 is a smoky rum and the sixth in this series. This time a blend of aged rums from Panama and Nicaragua which have been finished in ex Islay whisky casks for 6 months. This limited release was bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV.

Nose: smoke, exotic fruit and spices

Palate: pepper, curry and smoke with hazelnut pralines and vegetal aromas

Finish: toasted oak and a hint of smoke
