Provenance Glenallachie 9yo 2005

This Provenance Glenallachie 9 years old 2005 is a Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in the autumn of 2005 and made from lightly peated malt and it has matured in sherry butt 10404 . This whisky from the relatively unknown Glenallachie distillery was bottled in the summer of 2014 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: sweet planed wood  with rich chocolate and buttered toast

Palate: old leather, mouthfilling and creamy with dark fruit and hazelnuts

Finish: rich with notes of fruit and nuts
