Del Maguey Crème de Mezcal

Del Maguey's fabulous Crème de Mezcal is a blend of 80% San Luis del Rio Mezcal, and 20% pure agave syrup. The result is a sweet, unusual spirit. The label bears the slogan "For women only… and a few strong men".

Nose: A rich, roasted nose of maguey plant, soft smoke, custard, hints of stewed apples, pears and pepper. A little smoked almond.

Palate: Tropical fruits on the palate; notes of guava, pineapple, a little coconut, and then fresh espresso, black pepper and mint.

Finish: Marmalade and sweet smoke on the finish.
