The Blackadder Raw Cask The Old Man of Hoy 12 years old 2005 is an Orkney single malt from the most Northern located distillery on the Island. The Old Man on the Isle of Orkney is a pile of stones you see for the first time when you cruise from Stromness to Orkney by boat. This Orkney malt as distilled on the 2nd of June 2005 and matured in hogshead OMH 2018-2. It was bottled Raw Cask in January 2018 at natural cask strength of 60,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 344 bottles.
Nose: delicately sweet with vanilla and honey
Palate: very creamy with citrus followed by white spices
Finish: well balanced and pleasantly long
