Blair Athol 23yo Special Release 2017 (58,4%)

The Blair Athol 23 years old Special Release 2017 is part of the 2017 release of the Diageo Special Releases and was bottled in 1993. It matured in ex-European oak sherry casks and was bottled in 2017 at natural cask strength of 58,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 5514 bottles.

Nose: complex and aromatic with honey, nuts, caramel, estragon, mint and chocolate

Palate: oily and powerful with dried fruit, Christmas cookies, raisins, oak, liquorice and spices

Finish: long and spicy sweet with some smoke
