The Cooper’s Choice Inchgower 19 years old 2001 Sauternes Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt from the Inchgower distillery bottled by the independent bottler Cooper’s Choice (Vintage Malt Whisky Company). This Inchgower was distilled in April 2021 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a finish in Sauternes cask 9334. It was bottled in 2021 at natural cask strength of 49,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask releas eof 258 bottles.
Nose: absolutely delightful aroma of green apples and honeydew melon
Palate: grapefruit and citrus zest with gentle spice and ginger notes and a touch of hay
Finish: more of the above with a slight saltiness on the tail
