Cooper’s Choice Glenturret 9yo 2010 Ruadh Maor Heavily Peated (58%)

The Cooper’s Choice Glenturret 9 years old 2010 Ruadh Maor Heavily Peated is a heavily peated Speyside single malt from the Glenturret distillery bottled by the independent bottler Cooper’s Choice (Vintage Malt Whisky Company). This Glenturret was distilled in December 2010 and matured in bourbon cask 186. It was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 58% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 342 bottles.

Nose: acrid smoke and earthy peat, barbecue beef crisps and seaweed

Palate: smoky caramel, bonfire ash and sweet malt with vanilla, sea salt and soot

Finish: long and dry with more soot
