The Cadenhead Small Batch Glen Spey Glenlivet 16 years old 2001 is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Spey distillery bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead. This Glen Spey was distilled in 2001 and matured in three bourbon hogsheads. It was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 54% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited triple cask release of 858 bottles.
Nose: juicy green apples and freshly cut grass with a slight hint of cayenne pepper in the background
Palate: grapefruit, coconut and marzipan
Finish: buttered popcorn, sweet chili sauce and stewed apples
