The Armagnac Chateau de Pomes Peberere 1964 is a rich and heavy Armagnac from Chateau Pomes-Peberere from Ténarèze. A blend of Ugni-Blanc (50%), Colombard (40%) and other grapes varieties (10%). This release comes from 1964, has matured in French oak and was bottled in 2015, at the age of 51, at 42% ABV.
Nose: rich and complex with coffee, cinnamon, sultanas, leather, baked apples with custard pudding, furniture wax and fresh pastry
Palate: rich and fresh with orchard fruit, light spices, tobacco, milk chocolate, poached pears, vanilla, subtle tannins, oak and macarons
Finish: long and mouthfilling with red apples, sweet tobacco, chocolate, soft oak and creamy vanilla
